The Role
About the Head Chef Position
This is not an ordinary Head Chef position. The establishment in Notting Hill, W11 operates at the intersection of neighbourhood warmth and culinary excellence — a dining room that consistently earns five-star reviews from food critics, travel writers, and loyal locals alike. The venue seats approximately 65 covers for dinner service and hosts private dining events for up to 30 guests, placing a genuine premium on both consistency and creativity.
As Head Chef, you will have full creative autonomy over the menu — from seasonal tasting menus to the à la carte, weekend brunch service, and bespoke private dining menus. You'll lead a brigade of seven kitchen professionals, manage all supplier relationships, oversee food cost and GP management, and ultimately be responsible for the culinary identity and reputation of one of West London's most beloved dining destinations.
The role suits an ambitious culinary leader who has perhaps been working as a Senior Sous Chef or existing Head Chef and is ready for the creative and managerial freedom that comes with true ownership of a kitchen. If you are passionate about seasonal British ingredients, have experience working with Good Food Guide- or Michelin Bib Gourmand–calibre operations, and possess the leadership skills to mentor and develop a high-performing kitchen team, this role was made for you.
